Bio
About me... I always have trouble with this one.

Like everyone, I am a very complicated person. Until recently I was an avid World of Warcraft player. I gave it up to concentrate on real life for a while. I have 4 wonderful kids, one of which is my step-son with my ex-wife. He knows that I am not his father, but I am still his dad, and always will be.

Their names are Blake (my step-son) who is 9, James who is 8, Ian who is 6 and Caitlyn (my beautiful daugher) who is 5. I love them all equally, but I am so glad that I have a daughter. She is the light of my life. My kids don't live with me. Due to complicated (there's that word again! lol) circumstances, Blake, Ian and Caitlyn live with my ex-wife (their mother) and James lives with his mother (another ex, never married).

I am single at the moment, and taking everyday as a challenge to see if I can survive on my own.

I work as regional technology support with the Western Institute of TAFE, supporting schools and TAFE Campuses over half of New South Wales. My job primarily involves helping users do what they need with their computers, but can be as complicated (I swear that word is following me!) as installing new servers, whole classrooms of computers, plotters, scanners, printers, and other digital equipment. Because of the different sites I support, I have to be able to work with Windows and Mac.

I am interested in just about all things technology, love my music, and have a soft spot for modern romance movies. My favourite music artist is Melissa Etheridge, and I cannot wait for her to return to Australia next year. My favourite movie is harder to define. I would have to say The Shawshank Redemption, but only because it has been my favourite for so long. My favourite book series (can't just pick one! lol) would be The Tamuli by David Eddings.

My journal here is a raw cross section of my life, I don't hold anything back, and I don't censor myself. I post often, and I read all my friends entries. I may not comment on everything, but I do read it. I don't expect you to comment on everything either. I am here to find friends, and while I have already made good friends with some of the people here, you can always have more friends!
